Gran Muthu Almirante Beach, another slice of luxury in paradise
An article published by On Cuba News has confirmed that the prestigious Indian hotel chain MGM Muthu Hotels is expanding its tourist facilities in Cuba following the completion of a five-star hotel located in Guardalavaca, in the north-east of the island.
The 514-room Gran Muthu Almirante Beach will open its doors on 1st July and will offer incoming tourists even more 5-star choices for their holidays to Cuba post-Covid19, according to the company's Corporate General Director, Rafael Lopez.
Taking to Twitter to announce the exciting news, Mr Lopez wrote:
"Did you hear? The Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Hotel, the first beach resort in the Cubanacán group with a five-star category located in Eastern Cuba will open its doors on 1st July to further enrich the waters at Guardalavaca! Don't miss its opening!" - Rafael Lopez, Corporate General Director at MGM Muthu Hotels
In further exciting news related to this, the Gran Muthu Almirante Beach will be followed by another opening from the Indian chain, specifically in the Yuraguanal area in the province of Holguín, with around 480 more rooms and named Gran Muthu Holguin.
MGM Muthu Hotels see Cuba as the best Caribbean investment
It's not the first time that the MGM Muthu Hotels chain has seen the Caribbean island of Cuba as a worthy financial investment. Among other recent openings in Cuba is a large hotel in Havana, the Gran Muthu Plaza, which includes a huge shopping centre as one of its various services.
What's more, Cuba has been the only tourist destination promoted by MGM Muthu Hotels in the whole Caribbean for almost three years, adding to their five other hotels located in the destinations of Havana, Varadero, and Cayo Guillermo.
Indeed, it's the 5-star, 214-room Gran Muthu Rainbow located in Cayo Guillermo which is taking giant strides towards new levels of diversity tourism too. It is Cuba's first hotel dedicated to the LGTBQ+ community, showcasing three excellent bars and five restaurants, each specialising in either Asian, Cuban, international, gourmet, or buffet gastronomy.
Cuba is this Summer's choice for top-quality tourism
MGM Muthu Hotels, founded about a decade ago, has more than 50 hotels distributed in other countries such as France, England, Spain and Scotland. Choosing to invest so heavily in Cuba follows a trend of other luxury 5-star all-inclusive resorts either choosing to invest or re-open on the island.
A significant number of luxury 5-star all-inclusive resorts have been opening for the Summer 2021 season in Varadero on the stunning Hicacos peninsula. It seems as though the "Pearl of the Caribbean" will be the Caribbean's "go-to" place once COVID-19 restrictions ease further, allowing European tourists to book their trips to paradise.
