The Paradisus Varadero, one of Melia Cuba's flagship eco-resorts on Cuba's gorgeous "Playa Azul", is back following major renovation work on its image and services.
Paradisus Varadero: Improving on perfection
The latest news from Melia Cuba is that the Paradisus Varadero, which is one of the hotel chain's flagship eco-resorts, located on Cuba's gorgeous "Playa Azul", is back following major renovation work on its image and services.
Melia wanted to stick closely to the philosophy of their luxury brand "Paradisus by Melia", and so the resort has undergone a series of transformations that celebrate a style of holiday where the main priority is relaxation and first-class service, in an environment where the focus is on nature.
As a result, the rooms on the standard floor have been completely remodelled, with new furnishings, fabrics and lighting, as well as some state-of-the-art bathrooms and flooring having been installed in several areas.
Now, guests can also enjoy renovated pool spaces and several refurbished food areas, free Wi-Fi throughout the all-inclusive resort and the exclusive enclaves of Royal Service and The Reserve.
There's a relaxing Yhi Spa area, and exquisite gastronomy available. The ample dining choices include Creole, Mexican, Asian, fusion and an haute-cuisine option, as well as relaxing bars serving cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

"Stay Safe" in Cuba with Melia
What's more, Melia has introduced a "Stay Safe with Melia" programme across the island, the latest drive to keep your stay in Cuba as safe as possible following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Not only has this involved a huge effort to get all the employees vaccinated, but in a press release, Melia stated that they would:
"Reinforce the protocols implemented in favour of the guests and visitors' wellbeing, consolidating the destination as a safe place for travellers from all over the world before the start of the next Summer season."
Combined with the "Stay Safe" programme, the recent renovations completed at the Paradisus Varadero will ensure that Cuba will be a superb choice for a Caribbean getaway later this Summer, and on into the Autumn.
