Certain companies promote their solo holiday like something special, as if they have negotiated something unique, something no-one else have. At Cuba Direct we prefer to tell you the truth which is that when a room is occupied on your own, you are not paying half the price or any special price. That is simply a lie. When you stay in a "single" room (please note that there is always 2 beds), you would pay what one person sharing with another one will pay plus between 20% and 30% on top. This is the case of Cuba but in many other places of the world the hotel will charge 100% of the room cost. Is this unfair? Well, not quite. If a room cost $100 the hotel will usually charge $50 per person (based on double) but if a person stays on his own, the costs are pretty much the same so at best it has to charge $70 effectively losing 30%.

Sooo … don't fall for all those "specialists" claiming to have secured a price without single supplement as this is simply not true. Instead, take note of the price and give us a call.
